Struggling with overwhelming emotions, stress, or difficulty setting boundaries?

This 8-week virtual DBT skills group is designed for adults (18+) who want to gain practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and build stronger, healthier relationships. Whether you experience intense emotions, struggle with self-doubt, or find yourself people-pleasing at the expense of your own well-being, this group will provide you with the skills to navigate life with more confidence and control.

In a supportive and structured environment, you’ll learn mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—core DBT skills that help you break free from negative patterns and create lasting change.

“The most important thing to remember is that you can feel better, no matter how difficult things seem right now.”

— Marsha Linehan

4 Core DBT Skills

  • Mindfulness Skills

Learn how to stay present and aware in the moment, rather than getting caught up in worries about the past or future. By practicing nonjudgmental awareness, you can observe your thoughts and emotions without reacting impulsively, allowing you to respond to situations with clarity and intention.

  • Distress Tolerance Skills

Distress tolerance skills help you navigate intense emotions and crises without making the situation worse. These techniques focus on accepting reality as it is, managing discomfort in healthy ways, and finding strategies to cope with distress without resorting to avoidance or unhelpful behaviours.

  • Emotion Regulation Skills

Emotion regulation teaches you how to understand, manage, and change difficult emotions rather than feeling controlled by them. By identifying emotional patterns, reducing vulnerability to emotional distress, and increasing positive experiences, you can regain a sense of balance and stability in your daily life.

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills

Interpersonal effectiveness equips you with the tools to communicate your needs, set boundaries, and maintain healthy relationships without guilt or resentment. These skills help you express yourself assertively, navigate conflict with confidence, and build connections that feel authentic, supportive and fulfilling.
